Join the Grasshoppers for a tantalising luncheon with an illustrated lecture on the exhibition An individual perspective - from the Indigenous collection of Lauraine Diggins.

Lauraine Diggins will speak about the development of her collection of Indigenous art and her travels over many years to Aboriginal communities in the centre and north of Australia.

Robin Elliott - [murmur] - location-based story collections
Join us over lunch for a 20 minute artist talk by Robin Elliott, Executive Director of [murmur], a documentary oral history project initially developed in Toronto, Canada. Robin Elliott will talk about the concept of [murmur] in relation to an exciting new arts project at Eastern Park and Eastern Beach where stories told by Geelong storytellers can be heard via mobile phones. Signs throughout Eastern Park and Eastern Beach will provide codes that can be sent via SMS messages to access memories and stories about that very site.
