2014

In 2014, Geelong Gallery curated exhibition Ex libris—the book in contemporary art brought together works by artists Chris Bond, Penelope Davis, Danny Digby, Nicholas Jones, Aliza Levi, Tom Nicholson, Patrick Pound, and Kylie Stillman. 

Each artist manipulated the book form, re-purposing, re-interpreting and investing new life into mostly old and second-hand volumes or titles. At a time when the future of printed books was brought into question in relation to technological advancements, artists were increasingly engaging with the physical form of publications.
