The Geelong Gallery has a major collection of early British porcelain that includes rare and significant works. These richly-decorated forms featuring traditional floral and fruit motifs, landscapes, mythological scenes and rural vignettes are currently on display in the special exhibition, Painted porcelain—decorated British ceramics 1750–1850. This exhibition also includes a selection of recent acquisitions.
