Youth Ambassador program
For young people aged 18 to 30 years old living within the Geelong community and surrounding region
An exciting opportunity for young people aged 18 to 30 living within the Geelong region to gain a valuable learning experience and an understanding of arts industry knowledge, operations and leadership skills through a specialised training program during Geelong Gallery’s upcoming exhibition Clarice Beckett—Atmosphere (1 April to 9 July 2023).
- Program commences on Thursday 30 March 2023 until Sunday 9 July 2023
- All participants will need to be available to attend training at Geelong Gallery on Thursday 30 March, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm
- Work experience: 2 x 4-hour shifts shadowing a Gallery volunteer and Visitor service member (during April) to gain experience in exhibition invigilation, ticketing and events
- After the successful completion of training, participants’ will be offered 4 x 4-hour paid casual positions (April to 9 July)
