School mural project 2023 (FULLY BOOKED)

Victorian Curriculum all Levels—The Arts (Visual arts) and Humanities (History). Cross-curriculum priority of learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures
Geelong Gallery provides students with an opportunity to collaborate with First Nations artists and cultural educators Norm Stanley and Nikki McKenzie from Wurri – Ki Culture alongside Gallery Educators in a series of workshops to design and create a mural at their school. This project is an ideal opportunity to provide meaningful connections for all students to celebrate the rich and thriving culture, knowledge and experience of our First Nations people.
