VCE Art Making and Exhibiting Forum
Join us for a panel discussion exploring the role of Geelong Gallery’s curators and specialist team in preparing, presenting and conserving art for our current exhibitions. This event will allow students to learn from experts and develop an understanding of curatorial considerations and how artworks are selected and presented, methods used to create didactic information about the artists and artworks, and the role of conservation and care in the presentation of artworks in a public gallery.
This event provides key knowledge outlined in VCE Art Making and Exhibiting Unit 2 Outcome 1, Unit 3 Outcome 3 and Unit 4 Outcome 3.
Followed by a self-guided viewing of our current exhibition Janenne Eaton: Lines of Sight—Frame and Horizon.
Cost: $8 per student
