Don’t miss an opportunity to explore Kungka Kunpu (Strong Women) and meet senior artist Nyunmiti Burton and emerging artist Lisa Khan from the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. Working individually and collaboratively, these women leaders share an irrepressible desire to create ground-breaking works, deeply embedded with cultural knowledge and rich in ceremonial song and performance.

Presented as part of AGSA’s acclaimed Tarnanthi program, this exhibition reflects the adaptive genius, energy and dynamism of Aṉangu culture and the inspiring tale of women supporting each other across generations.

This event is an extraordinary opportunity to explore Kungka Kunpu (Strong Women)in the company of a senior Anangu artist, teacher and community leader Nyunmiti Burton and emerging artist, Lisa Khan from the APY Lands. Please note, there will be no formal presentation or talk at this event.
