1899
In 1899, Geelong Gallery still didn’t have a home, but many landmarks in the region had been proposed.
According to a clipping from The Argus on 23 November 1899, places such as the Fire Brigade Station (Little Malop Street), the Town Hall (Gheringhap Street), and the Free Library (Moorabool Street), had all been considered.
