Gallery on Tour outreach program provides you with the opportunity for a Geelong Gallery Educator to visit your school and engage students in visual arts learning providing:
—An introductory video
—An information resource on the artist and work
—Discussion questions
—An art-making activity
—Materials
Designed to support schools located in the Barwon South Region of Victoria, this program provides free, hands-on art-making workshop kits and practical art experience facilitated by a Gallery Educator at your school.
Workshop Kit 1: Christian Thompson’s self-portrait Untitled (Banksia Leaf) (2007)
Workshop Kit 2: Kate Beynon’s work Graveyard scene / the beauty and sadness of bones (2014–15)
