Arthur Streeton—Anzac Day for primary students

Levels 3 to 6—The Arts, English, History

Arthur Streeton’s Ocean blue, Lorne (1921) was painted a year before the Great Ocean Road opened. Built by over 3,000 returned Australian soldiers, this activity explores Streeton’s role as an official war artist and encourages students to consider their thoughts and ideas of war.
