Join us for a panel discussion exploring the role of Geelong Gallery’s Curatorial and specialist team in selecting, preparing, presenting and conserving artworks for exhibitions, and an introduction to Geelong Gallery’s 2026 ticketed exhibition (to be announced soon).

Students will gain insights from the experts to develop their understanding of the methods used and considerations involved in the presentation, conservation and care of artworks, the strategies used to plan and develop exhibitions, how artworks are selected and didactic information has been developed for Geelong Gallery’s 2026 ticketed exhibition.

Students and educators will be provided with an introduction to Geelong Gallery’s 2026 ticketed exhibition and undertake a self-guided viewing prior to reassembling on Level 5 of the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre for panel discussion with members ostaff responsible for planning and delivering the exhibition.
