Vocational training and work experience program

As the leading visual arts institution in the region, Geelong Gallery is excited to offer a specialised vocational training and work experience program supporting young people aged 15 to 18 living in the G21 region.

The program is designed for secondary students to gain an understanding of arts industry knowledge, develop strong communication skills, self-awareness, and critical thinking skills through a specialised training program.

Suitable for Secondary School students aged 15 to 18 years. Including Year 10 Work experience placement students, and Structured Workplace Learning for VCE/VCEVM (Vocational Major students). The program aims to support a successful transition to further education, training, or employment after school.

Term 1, 2025 program
Term 2, 2025 program
Term 3, 2025 Archibald Prize 2025 work experience placement. Available Monday 15 September to Friday 19 September.
