Geelong Gallery Members are invited for a day out in Queenscliff during the Queenscliffe Literary Festival.
An exclusive opportunity to attend a day of events at Membership Partners Queenscliff Gallery and The Bookshop at Queenscliff, before enjoying a lunch at the newly refurbished Queenscliff Hotel.

Artist Tour of QG Literary Festival Exhibitions: Katherine Hattam, Helen Kocis Edwards, Sue Poggioli and Elmari Steyn
Queenscliff Gallery, 11.00am to 12.00pm
Commence the day out to Queenscliff by joining artists Katherine Hattam, Helen Kocis Edwards and Sue Poggioli for an exclusive tour and talk of their exhibition at Queenscliff Gallery.
Forming a special exhibition for the Queenscliffe Literary Festival; To my husband, also a general, a collection of mixed-media works by Katherine Hattam; the monoprints of Helen Kocis Edwards that explore human/nature relationships through imagery reminiscent of storybooks and fairy tales within imagined worlds; Sue Poggioli’s playful linocut scenes inspired by Matisse exhibitions; and Elmari Steyn’s evocative tree houses.

The Bookshop at Queenscliff, 12.15 to 12.45pm
Next, we will enjoy a two-minute stroll to our next event, a visit to the new premises of The Bookshop at Queenscliff, the official bookstore for the Queenscliffe Literary Festival. Listen to owners Matt Davis and Jayne Tuttle introduce you to their delightful bookstore, highlight some exciting new art book releases and take the time to slow down and browse the shelves.
Geelong Gallery and Queenscliff Gallery Luncheon at The Conservatory
Queenscliff Hotel, 1.00 to 3.00pm
Finally, we will walk the final distance (5 minutes) to the Queenscliff Hotel to enjoy the opportunity to share a two-course family-style lunch with Queenscliff Gallery exhibiting artists Katherine Hattam, Helen Kocis Edwards and Sue Poggioli, Borough of Queenscliffe CEO Jane Grover, and Queenscliff Gallery owner Theo Mantalvanos and represented artist Mary-Louise Edwards.
