Artist statement:

Urban space is a space we share with strangers. People in the city are connected by the fact that they share the environment.

While I am always excited and inspired by the vibrancy of the city life around me, I have also found that in modern life, the more people come together, the more they are disconnected in spirit. Do we have any connections? Who are we; where do we come from; what are we doing and where are we going? These questions have led me into exploring the bustling, overwhelming city environment, as well as the sense of loneliness, isolation and uncertainty behind the crowd.
