Artist statement:

End-user
Parents who are seeking a set of aesthetic yet functional chairs that can be assembled and disassembled with ease and are stable enough to hold the weight of an adult and be safe for younger children to use as well.

Context
These chairs have been designed to be put together and taken apart without the need for tools. They are not designed to be used at a dining table and are instead meant for hallways or bedrooms, where they are not used every day.

Materials
I chose to use Birch plywood as it is a durable, strong and long-lasting material. Each chair and its parts have been constructed on Fusion 360 and cut using a CNC to ensure accuracy.

Statement
The Flatpack Chair set includes three chairs, each one different from the others, that can be assembled and disassembled with ease.
