During your visit—COVID–19 Safety measures
In line with the conditions outlined by the Victorian Government and health authorities, Geelong Gallery has implemented a number of COVID–19 Safety measures. Our priority is to keep visitors and staff safe and we have introduced these measures to keep our community safe, including online bookings, member priority access, sanitisation stations, physical distancing and no cloaking. Please refer to our updated Conditions of Entry (click through to read) for details.
Geelong Gallery Director and CEO, Jason Smith said, ‘We hope these measures give the community confidence that we have carefully considered the timing of our reopening to ensure the Gallery spaces are safe and ready for visitors and prepared in line with museum standards and COVID–19 best practice regulations.’
Gallery and museum capacities are currently limited to 20 people. We will not be offering tours or group bookings at this stage, however, we look forward to sharing our current suite of exhibitions, Collection leads: Kate Beynon—kindred spirits, Jacky Redgate—HOLD ON, Going public—portraits from the Colin Holden Collection and Resonance+Reflection—design ideas for an expanded Geelong Gallery and the Gallery’s permanent collection with the people of Geelong and beyond again.
Although we are keen to resume our offering of Public, Learn and Access programs, should any of our programs or events be cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will be offered a credit or refund in full.
For those who still cannot physically visit the Gallery, we will continue to offer programs online, via the Gallery Channel.
Geelong Gallery will continue to monitor and be guided by the Victorian Government’s health guidelines.
