Join Associate Director of Conservation at the National Gallery of Victoria, Michael Varcoe-Cocks for a fascinating lecture discussing his recent finding of a long-lost Frederick McCubbin painting, Found. The work has been missing for over 115 years and recently discovered under the surface of one of McCubbin’s key works The Pioneer (1904) after a routine inspection during the Victorian lockdown in 2020.

The Pioneer (1904) is on display in Frederick McCubbin—Whisperings in wattle boughs.

Enjoy a glass of wine on arrival.
