Artist statement:

My work reflects what it is like living as a queer person and seeing your community under attack. I have been inspired by personal feelings of isolation and anger to represent the social climate around identity issues. I have explored and utilised the motif of the prey animal to draw parallels between the natural world and repeated attacks towards the queer community.
