Artist statement:

This stop motion animation explores change and continuity. It looks at how these experiences are revealed, and how our senses can summon former versions of ourselves to the present, revealing how deeply our past shapes who we are. A song from one’s past can re-emerge years later, carrying with it not just the memory but the presence of who we once were. As we grow, we accumulate the many lives we’ve lived—not leaving the past behind but moving forward with it. The past endures as a constant influence, carrying echoes of our transformed selves, and continually resurfacing through the passage of time.
