Artist statement:

My practice uses photography and incorporates common symbolism to explore fictitiousness and create obscurity through conventional means. This untitled work comments on the reality of being situated within a post-industrial present: embodying both vitality and ruin. By utilising a layered, photographic darkroom print and historically significant materials, the work expands on how easily perceptions can shift whilst embodying the brutality of decay.
