Artist statement:

I have been working on Floral confetti slowly over the past year, and it has been my favourite thing to continue adding to in my free time. I love flowers and think they are one of the most beautiful of God’s creations. I wanted to create an artwork that was a celebration of flowers; capturing their unique shapes and textures in my own abstract interpretation, while making use of bright, vibrant colours and detailed line work. I wanted to create a whimsical and garden-like feel by using many colours and a diverse array of flowers, with butterflies and ladybugs woven through them.
