Artist statement:

Janos Korban and Stefanie Flaubert love metal. They love its ductility, lustre, and raw integrity. They work it into forms which capture movement and energy. The expressive potential of the travelling line is explored in works with an animal character. They explore the motion of the body in space. Phantom #2 explores this in a wall piece using a new forming/pleating/welding technique in stainless steel.
