In street art and graffiti tradition, artists sign their name using a ‘tag’. A tag name is a pseudonym, pen name or alias. These tags are created in various ways—using nicknames, initials, mixing up letters in their name or dropping letters, such as Tyrone becoming ‘Rone’.
