Who's who portrait prize
The Who’s who portrait prize aims to encourage and inspire young artists to celebrate local or regional identities, their personal histories and achievements through portraiture.
This annual exhibition of the work of local students honours Jules Francois Archibald, after who the Art Gallery of New South Wales' famous portrait prize is named, and his very special connection to Geelong as his birthplace.
The 2017 Who’s who portrait prize was displayed throughout the region over the exhibition period at Belmont Library, Geelong West Library, Geelong Library & Heritage Centre, Lara Library, Newcomb Library, Waurn Ponds Library, Westfield Geelong, Courthouse Youth Arts, Leura Park Estate, Focus Five Building and Geelong Gallery.
