Youth Ambassador―Youth Council

Program dates: July 2022 to January 2023 | Monthly meetings from 4.00pm to 5.30pm | Paid employment

Geelong Gallery’s Youth Council aims to connect and empower young people living in the community through engagement in the arts, training and well-being activities at the Gallery. This is an exciting opportunity for young people ages 15 to 17 to join their peers and have a unique voice within the creative industries sector while gaining valuable learning experiences and an understanding of arts industry knowledge, operations and professional development.

The program seeks to enhance participant self-esteem by building confidence through learning new skills and empowering young people to take leading roles in their community.
